Training for sighted people working with clients who have a visual impairment.

Awareness Training

An introduction to some of the issues and barriers faced when a person loses their sight. Informal but informative, we cover issues including common causes of sight loss, guiding (and being guided), canes, guide dogs, technological aids and more.  

Half day £70.00 per person (minimum 5 people)

Full day £131.91 per person (minimum 5 people)

Software Training

An introduction to Dolphin Supernova software, using both speech and magnification. Unplug the mouse and learn to work as a visually impaired person does. 

Half day £70.00 per person (minimum 5 people)

Full day £131.91 per person (minimum 5 people)

Candidates for software training can attain qualifications in use of the screen reader and magnification subject to meeting the criteria on the day and a £15.00  processing fee per certificate.

Awareness and software training days can be held at your premises or we can arrange a location in Gloucester at extra cost.

Individual Training 

Training for individuals in their home or place of work covering topics to suit the individual client can be arranged.

Half day £225.00   

Full day £375.00
