The internet is not perfect! A lot of websites are well-maintained and work well, but sometimes you will find things that don't work. Websites are changed and updated all the time, but occasionally website designers forget to update the links that connect the pages. When this happens you will get a page that says something like "Internet Explorer can not open this page" or "Error 404". Don't worry, you haven't done anything wrong! But you will need to know what to do if this happens. Basically all you need to do is go back to the previous page so you can pick another link and carry on browsing. Sometimes the error message will have a link that will take you back to the previous page or to the home page of the website. But not always, so we need a method that always works. The easiest way to go back a page is to hold down the Alt key and press the left arrow. There's a link at the bottom of this page labelled Oops! It's a faulty link. Follow the link, then try Alt and left arrow to get back to this page. Now you know it works!
